“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Ferris Bueller, 1986
There is no shortage of art in our world. You don’t have to go to a gallery or a museum. In my former life, I worked in the financial district and jetted from place to place. Every once and a while I looked up to see a Mural of Georges Seurat’s A Sunday on La Grande Jatte—1884, it was the highlight of my commute.
I call this surroundism – a school of thought that embraces art, literature, music and the life around you.
