A quick excursion is better than none at all. A detour took me to Lahaska, Pennsylvania, I drove past Caleb’s American Kitchen. I pulled to the roadside to review the menu. I needed an egg adventure.

Caleb’s is a pearl hidden on a back road in Bucks County.

Modern American cuisine — English muffin, browned ham, greens with a poached egg laid gently on top enveloped in a creamy Hollandaise sauce plus a side of roasted potatoes.

It was a creation in its self.
